Role Description
Gulliver Preparatory School is seeking a full-time, on-site Engineering and FRC Robotics High School Teacher for its Miami, FL campus. The teacher will develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in engineering and robotics, prepare students for regional and national robotics competitions, and foster hands-on learning experiences within the classroom. The role also includes mentoring students in FIRST Robotics programs, collaborating with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment. The teacher will work to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and innovation skills in students.

Position Overview
Gulliver Prep Upper School faculty are passionate, student-centered educators committed to delivering dynamic, engaging, and rigorous academic experiences. They are collaborative professionals who strive to foster deep learning, critical thinking, and the holistic development of all students in alignment with Gulliver’s mission and educational philosophy.
The Upper School Engineering department is seeking talented individuals to lead courses on the application and principles of engineering across a range of specializations, including electrical, mechanical, industrial, and civil engineering, as well as control systems and robotics. This position will prepare and deliver lessons to students on topics such as mechanics, hydraulics, statics, electronics, kinematics, and robotics.
Gulliver emphasizes a hands-on approach to teaching engineering and robotics, which includes: design process and design thinking, CAD software, prototyping and manufacturing, and design orientation. In addition, experience in participating in and leading teams through projects or processes is essential.
