Our office is located in the Lower Garden District of New Orleans, Louisiana. Employees in New Orleans mostly follow a hybrid schedule where they are required to work in office, attend in-person meetings or training and may also collaborate virtually. New Orleans is a popular tourist destination known for its rich history, architecture, cultural arts, music, and cuisine. Many great hotels, galleries, restaurants, and museums are a short walk from the office.
What You Will DoUnder general supervision, plan, organize, manage, and execute designated mechanical engineering projects and programs, ensuring the successful conclusion of all phases within an appropriate time and at appropriate cost. You will perform and oversee execution of engineering design tasks for assigned projects, including modeling, calculations, drawings, and specifications while maintaining accurate records of design work and revisions throughout the project life cycle. In this role, you develop, prepare, and review technical documentation and reports to support design decisions and project requirements and participate in project meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate engineering solutions into overall project plans. Conduct design reviews and evaluate vendor proposals to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company requirements, utilize engineering software and tools to model, simulate, and analyze design components, and assist in resolving technical issues during construction and commissioning phases. As a Mechanical Engineer II, you continuously improve design processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the project office and perform other duties as requested.

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $93,000 - $127,500. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
