A prestigious and globally recognized Am Law firm is seeking an Energy Acquisitions & Divestitures Associate Attorney with 3–6 years of experience to join its Houston office. This role focuses on sophisticated transactional matters in the energy sector, particularly upstream and midstream acquisitions and divestitures.
This partner-track position offers the opportunity to work closely with industry-leading clients on complex deals, providing strategic counsel while gaining hands-on experience in high-value energy transactions. Attorneys will be involved in all phases of deal execution and client advisory.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and execute energy acquisition and divestiture transactions from inception through closing
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction agreements and related documents
• Conduct due diligence and perform detailed risk assessments for energy transactions
• Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives and provide strategic legal advice
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient deal execution

Qualifications
• 3–6 years of experience as an Energy Associate Attorney or Oil & Gas Attorney
• Strong experience in upstream and midstream energy acquisitions and divestitures
• Admission to the Texas Bar required
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
