Endoscopy, Full Time Days
*Schedule is 6:30 am-3 pm Mon-Friday
*ON CALL SCHEDULE: Weekend call about every other weekend and on call 2-3 nights a week
HIGHLY PREFER previous endoscopy experience, pre, intra and post
Responsibilities:Assists the physician in the performance of endoscopic procedures. Maintains supplies and equipment in the Endoscopy Department in proper working order. Cleans and disinfects equipment according to unit and hospital policy. Provides appropriate patient care to the Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy patient under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Performance of clerical duties as necessary to assure optimal function of Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy. Assemble and maintain patient chart material, maintain records and files, maintains order, cleanliness of the workstation. Completes charges for patients.

Knowledge of handling hazardous substances. Skill and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in-writing. Tact, discretion, diplomacy, and ability to work effectively with others.
