- Provide staff-assisted Wagner-Peyser labor exchange services to job seekers in a public workforce center environment.
- Serve as a primary point of entry for customers accessing services at the Workforce Center.
- Assist walk-in customers in the Resource Room with job search activities, resume development, and application completion
- Guide customers in using the HireWyo labor exchange system, including account setup, profile completion, and job matching.
- Conduct employment readiness assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and potential barriers to employment.
- Determine appropriate service levels and refer customers to partner programs or case management services as needed.
- Provide basic career services, including resume assistance, job search strategies, and interview preparation.
- Deliver or support group instruction on workforce readiness topics such as resume development, interviewing, and digital literacy.
- Ensure accurate data entry and documentation in accordance with federal and state reporting requirements.
- Maintain data integrity by verifying participant information, work history, and occupational coding.
- Determine eligibility for Priority of Service for veterans and eligible spouses and ensure proper service delivery and referrals.
- Administer approved workforce assessments and maintain test security and compliance with established procedures.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused environment while assisting multiple customers simultaneously.
- Provide referrals to employment opportunities, training programs, and community resources.
- Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
PREFERENCES/**AGENCY REQUIREMENTS:Preference may be given to candidates with experience working in federal programs.
Preference may be given to candidates with customer service experience.
Preference may be given to candidates with a valid driver's license.
Preference may be given to candidates with experience building and maintaining relationships with community partners.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education:Bachelor's Degree (typically in Business or Human Services)
Experience:0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Business or Human Services)
OREducation & ExperienceSubstitution:3-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business or Human Services)
