A premier employment law practice is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate Attorney or Of Counsel to join its growing remote litigation team. This position focuses heavily on law and motion practice, appellate advocacy, employment litigation defense, and strategic case support for sophisticated employer clients.
The successful candidate will work on high-level employment disputes involving complex legal issues, providing critical support through motion practice, appellate briefing, trial preparation, and litigation strategy. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys who enjoy legal writing, research, and advocacy while working in a collaborative and fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive legal research involving employment law and litigation matters.
• Draft dispositive motions, discovery motions, trial motions, and related briefing.
• Prepare appellate briefs and support appellate litigation strategy.
• Draft demand letters and responses to administrative agency charges.
• Prepare and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Assist with trial preparation, trial motions, and supporting documentation.
• Draft mediation briefs and settlement-related materials.
• Collaborate with litigation teams to develop effective case strategies.
• Analyze employment law developments and provide practical legal recommendations.
• Work closely with professional development and client service teams to deliver exceptional legal work product.
• Manage multiple litigation assignments while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications
Associate Level
• Minimum 4+ years of California employment litigation experience.
• Strong experience handling employment law defense matters.
• Significant motion practice and legal writing experience.
• California Bar admission in good standing.
Of Counsel Level
• 9+ years of employment litigation experience.
• Demonstrated first-chair litigation experience.
• Significant experience handling sophisticated employer defense matters.
• Strong appellate and law and motion practice background.
Additional Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical abilities.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
