A mid-to-large national law firm is seeking an Employment & Labor Attorney to join its St. Louis office. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience advising and representing employers on a broad range of employment and labor matters.


The role will involve:

  • Advising public and private employers on issues including employment policies, workplace investigations, and compliance matters
  • Handling matters relating to non-compete and trade secret issues
  • Drafting employment agreements and restrictive covenant agreements
  • Managing administrative charges and litigation, including discrimination, wage & hour, and restrictive covenant disputes
  • Supporting clients with day-to-day employment advice and risk management


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong employment advisory and litigation experience
  • Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple matters independently
  • A detail-oriented approach and strong work ethic
  • Experience or interest in traditional labor matters (e.g. collective bargaining, union issues) is a plus

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD)
  • Active Missouri Bar admission

Compensation (estimated market range):

  • Salary: $140,000 – $180,000 (dependent on experience)
