Shift: Variable 1st / 2nd Shift Based on Business Needs

Pay: $61/hr. on W2


Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Employee Development Specialist III to support aerospace manufacturing training and new hire onboarding programs in Salt Lake City, UT. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in aerospace manufacturing, machining, or shop-floor operations combined with experience in coaching, instruction, and curriculum delivery. The selected candidate will deliver instructor-led training, facilitate technical learning events, assess trainee performance, and support development of skilled manufacturing talent across aerospace disciplines such as structural, electrical, systems, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver instructor-led aerospace manufacturing and foundational skills training
  • Conduct learning needs analysis and establish training objectives
  • Facilitate onboarding, coaching, and technical development sessions
  • Assess trainee performance and recommend improvement actions
  • Customize courseware, presentations, and learning guides
  • Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions for additional instructors
  • Ensure training compliance with safety, regulatory, and organizational standards

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of aerospace manufacturing or manufacturing support experience
  • Experience in coaching, instructing, or employee development/training
  • Experience designing or delivering technical curriculum/courseware
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing/shop floor processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace Manufacturing / Lean Certifications
  • Experience with Structural, Electrical, Systems, Repair, or Functional Test
  • Mechanic background in aerospace manufacturing environments
  • Experience with needs assessment and job analysis
