Schedule:Part time, Rotating 12 hour shifts

How you'll make an impact in this role

Drive an ambulance to transport ill or injured patients to the appropriate facility.

  • Ensure safe transportation of ill or injured patients.
  • Maintain ambulance in clean condition and working order. Perform regular routine inspections prior to each shift to ensure safe operation of the vehicle.
  • Assist with stocking the ambulance with needed supplies and ensure on-board equipment is in working order.
  • Perform the duties of an EMT or Paramedic, depending on qualifications, as needed.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
