Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AUTOSAR Embedded Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain software for automotive embedded systems. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in AUTOSAR (Classic and/or Adaptive), along with a deep understanding of embedded systems and real-time software development.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, validation, and testing to deliver high-quality, production-ready automotive software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, integrate, and maintain AUTOSAR Classic and/or Adaptive software components.
  • Develop embedded software using C/C++ for automotive ECUs and microcontrollers.
  • Configure and customize AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) modules, including MCAL, OS, COM stack, and RTE.
  • Translate system and software requirements into robust application and low-level implementations.
  • Debug and resolve complex software and hardware issues using tools such as JTAG, trace tools, and logic analyzers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Support software integration, system bring-up, and validation on target hardware.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards and development processes (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in embedded software development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AUTOSAR (Classic and/or Adaptive platforms).
  • Proficiency in C/C++ for real-time embedded systems.
  • Experience with automotive microcontrollers (e.g., Infineon, NXP, Renesas).
  • Solid understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet.
  • Experience with embedded debugging and profiling tools.
  • Ability to read hardware schematics and work closely with hardware components when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with functional safety standards such as ISO 26262.
  • Familiarity with ASPICE development environments and processes.
  • Experience with bootloaders, diagnostics (UDS), and over-the-air (OTA) updates.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for embedded software development.
  • Experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
