Job Description
The Test Technician will perform electrical and optical testing on fiber optic and hybrid cable assemblies to ensure product performance, reliability, and compliance with industry and internal quality standards. This role requires strong technical aptitude, careful attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering and production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
The role is based in a clean manufacturing environment focused on producing fiber optic and hybrid cable assemblies for government and private sector customers. Work is performed in a clean room type setting where employees wear a basic gown similar to a lab coat to protect sensitive components and maintain cleanliness standards. The position involves regular use of specialized test equipment, including OTDRs, power meters, interferometers, multimeters, and other electronic test instruments. Standard shift options typically include a day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with frequent overtime opportunities on Friday. Depending on department needs, an alternative schedule of Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. may be available. The environment emphasizes adherence to safety, quality, and documentation procedures while supporting efficient, precise, and reliable testing activities.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
