Job Description

• The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, programming, and testing products ensuring quality, traceability, and functional performance!
• Warehouse technicians perform routine warehouse work like pulling orders, operating forklifts, maintaining inventory, shipping and receiving basics!

Potential Responsibilities

• Assemble products and sub-assemblies following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, torque tools, and basic test equipment safely and correctly.
• Verify correct parts, quantities, and serial numbers before and after assembly.
• Conduct in-process and final quality checks to ensure product standards are met.
• Record build activity, serial tracking, and test results in the system.
• Perform firmware and software updates on devices.
• Program and configure devices using approved tools, scripts, and configuration files.
• Troubleshoot basic programming, firmware, or connectivity issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe work area.
• Operate forklift

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in assembly and sub-assembly processes.
• Experience in software programming and testing (basic computer operations).
• Ability to use hand tools and torque tools effectively.
• Knowledge of electronic assembly and quality control standards.
• Familiarity with assembly and electronics assembly procedures.
• Experience with firmware and software updates on devices.
• Comfortable working with serial tracking and production documentation.
• Experience in general warehousing
• Experience operating a forklift

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in electronics assembly, manufacturing, or hardware production preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed technical instructions and SOPs.
• Basic understanding of firmware, software loading, or device configuration is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
