Title: R&O Technician III or IV

Location: Lynwood, WA (Onsite)

Duration: Perm

Hours: 1st shift (start between 4am-9am w/8hr shift) OR 2nd shift (start between 12pm-4pm w/8hr shift)

Openings: 3 (1 for 1st shift, 2 for 2nd shift)

Salary: $87,200-$104,000

Interview Process: 2 Rounds (skills call & final panel interview)

Start Date: Asap

Drug Test: Due to FAA environment, random drug testing will be conducted


Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of small‑component assembly experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment
  • AA Associate’s degree (AA) in Electronic Avionics or HS Diploma with experience.
  • Current or prior IPC soldering certification
  • Proven ability to test and troubleshoot down to the component level
  • Experience in Avionics/Aviation/FAA/FDA and 400Hz AC Power
  • Experience with legacy equipment: Analog Flight, Embedded Systems/Circuit Boards/Data Systems
  • Experience with repairing and fixing power supplies and manual electronic testing
  • Experience with ATE, O-Scope, DMM, HiPot, Thermal Chambers, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers


Plusses:

  • Strong understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques used to optimize manufacturing and distribution
  • Practical knowledge of engineering electronics, science, and technology, including the application of principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment in product design and production
  • Working knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including relevant applications and programming


Day to Day:

The R&O Technician will be responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic and mechanical units in accordance with engineering documentation, schematics, manuals, and test procedures. The position involves performing both automated and manual testing using a wide range of standard and specialized test equipment, analyzing results, and making necessary adjustments or component‑level repairs down to the board level. The individual will diagnose equipment malfunctions, resolve customer hardware failures, maintain detailed test and system documentation, and collaborate with engineers, manufacturers, and field representatives as needed. In addition, this role provides technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams, supports continuous improvement initiatives, promotes safe work practices, and assists with training and mentoring less experienced technicians within the value stream.
