  • Optimize Machine Integration: Combine subsystems into cohesive, high‑performing solutions that meet customer needs while improving reliability, cost, and quality.
  • Prevent Product Failures: Identify and mitigate potential failure modes early by analyzing interfaces, functions, and control factors to strengthen product reliability.
  • Drive Data‑Backed Design Decisions: Use modeling, simulation, and analytical tools to predict system behavior and influence product design direction.
  • Resolve Complex Product Issues: Apply structured problem‑solving methods to protect the customer, determine root causes, and implement durable, data‑driven solutions.
  • Lead Verification & Validation Rigor: Develop and execute validation plans, assess risk, interpret test results, and guide requirement negotiations to ensure product capability.
  • Translate Requirements Into Actionable Designs: Convert stakeholder needs into clear, verifiable system requirements and manage their lifecycle to maintain alignment across teams.
  • Apply Systems Thinking for Better Outcomes: Analyze system interactions, boundaries, and behaviors to predict performance and guide modifications that deliver desired results.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • Technical Problem‑Solving Expertise: Ability to investigate electronic system issues, understand root causes, recommend corrective actions, and independently drive problem resolution while documenting findings clearly.
  • Proficiency in Systems and Controls Tools: Skill in using system specification methods, modeling and simulation tools, calibration techniques, and verification and validation processes to support high‑quality product development.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration and Communication: Capability to gather input from customers, engineering teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to inform decisions that improve product performance, reliability, and quality.
  • Strong Systems Thinking and Decision‑Making: Confidence in making sound design, requirements, calibration, and testing decisions that influence component and system performance, while coordinating work with technicians or temporary team members as needed.
