Our client is building advanced autonomous platforms for demanding real-world applications, and they are adding an Electronic Engineer who wants direct influence over product performance, field reliability, and future platform capability. This is an opportunity to join a growing engineering group where strong contributors help shape architecture, solve tough integration challenges, and move ideas from early concept through prototype and into deployable hardware. For the right person, this role offers meaningful technical ownership, close collaboration with a hands-on team, and the chance to work on systems that matter.

- Opportunity to help build and scale a growing U.S. engineering team
Focus
- Design, prototype, and refine electronic assemblies for rugged autonomous platforms operating in demanding field conditions
- Own schematic capture, board layout coordination, bring-up, and validation for compact power and control hardware
- Evaluate radios, sensors, and supporting components with close attention to reliability, integration risk, and performance tradeoffs
- Partner with mechanical, firmware, flight, and manufacturing teammates to solve cross-functional issues quickly
- Plan and execute bench testing for signal integrity, EMI awareness, power behavior, and subsystem verification
- Support the transition from concept hardware to repeatable builds suitable for early production
Skill Set
- 5 plus years of experience in electronics design for aerospace, robotics, defense, automotive, or other high-reliability systems
- Hands-on skill with PCB design workflows, lab instrumentation, and practical hardware debugging
- Experience working within size, weight, and power constraints
- Working knowledge of embedded hardware, digital interfaces, and sensor integration
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving build-test-learn environment with limited oversight
- Strong communication skills and an ownership mindset
- Background in RF hardware, datalinks, or flight-adjacent systems is helpful
- Eligibility to pass background screening and support defense-aligned programs
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field preferred
- Equivalent hands-on experience designing and building complex hardware systems will also be considered
Preferred Profile
This team is especially interested in engineers who can contribute quickly, think across disciplines, and take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks. Experience in unmanned systems is valuable, but outstanding problem-solving ability and proven hardware execution are more important than matching every industry keyword.
