Electro Mechanical Technician

We are looking to hire a couple of Electro - Mechanical Mechanics in Hornell, NY

Job duties include -

Preventative Maintenance: Performing regular inspections and upkeep of machinery, equipment, and structural components (mechanical, plumbing, lighting) to prevent breakdowns.

• Repairs: Troubleshooting and repairing faulty equipment, electrical systems, and plumbing, as well as general handyman tasks like painting and carpentry.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring all work complies with safety regulations, electrical codes, and environmental standards.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory using work order systems.
• Emergency Response: Responding to urgent maintenance calls (e.g., power outages, leaks) and providing, sometimes, after-hours assistance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Tools Proficiency: Experience using, maintaining, and repairing hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues and identify root causes.
