Electro Mechanical Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electro Mechanical Technician to join our team in Texas. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and a strong understanding of basic electrical work. This position requires a dynamic professional who can perform a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to, assembly of racks, installation of safety shields, and using power tools.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform basic electrical and mechanical work, including but not limited to, crimping ferrules on wires and neatly routing cables and wires in and around test equipment.

2. Undertake mechanical tasks such as assembly of racks, installation of safety shields, and use of power tools.

3. Conduct basic troubleshooting of general equipment to identify and rectify faults.

4. Ensure all tools and parts needed for the job are in working order.

5. Lift, move and carry different hardware and components as per the project's requirements.

6. Use ladders and reach high and low areas as needed.

7. Interact with various systems and access different areas, requiring physical movement.

Qualifications:

1. 1-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
2. Strong knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical work.
3. Proficient in using different power tools.
4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to lift, move and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
6. Ability to work independently and in a team.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift, move, and carry various hardware and components, up to 50 lbs.

2. Ability to use ladders and reach high and low areas.

3. Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods.
