We are seeking a skilled and driven Electro-Mechanical Engineer to support automated manufacturing systems and drive continuous improvement across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret complex technical instructions, including schematics, diagrams, and mathematical data, to support equipment functionality and troubleshooting
Diagnose and resolve root cause issues across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems within automated equipment
Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and NEC regulations
Integrate and support a wide range of I/O devices and systems, including sensors, vision systems, servo drives, HMIs, laser marking, and plastic welding technologies
Partner with Corporate Manufacturing Services and plant engineering teams to define equipment requirements, including error-proofing and data collection solutions
Provide electro-mechanical engineering input for new product launches and process development in alignment with APQP and TS16949 standards
Support installation, upgrades, and commissioning of production and facility-based control systems
Train and support plant personnel on equipment operation, electrical systems, and machine safety standards
Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, implementing sustainable corrective actions
Optimize process flow, ergonomics, and throughput for manufacturing operations
Participate in cost analysis and business case development for capital equipment improvements
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures, implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence
Consistently meet established performance goals and project timelines
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
Strong root cause problem-solving skills with experience using Lean methodologies
Effective communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
