Electrical Test Assistant - NETA I

ABM Industries is seeking a Test Assistant (NETA I) to join our team. The Level I NETA Certified technician is responsible for safe and efficient installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical power distribution equipment for customers in the assigned territory. In this role you will travel approximately 20% of the time, and, working under the supervision of Level III or IV Certified technician, are responsible for the performance and management of routine tasks and projects, record keeping, evaluation of test data, and preparation of field service reports

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and collect data on electrical systems. 

• Assist Level III and IV certified technicians to maintain, inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and service low, medium, and high voltage switchgear, relays, circuit breakers, transformers, sub-stations, and related equipment. 

• Assist Level III and IV certified technicians to test and calibrate relays and power metering. 

• Under supervision of Level III or IV technician, sample and analyze insulated fluids. 

• Complete Job Hazard Analyses including but not limited to arc-flash and shock analyses 

• Document test results and complete field reports. 

• Maintain strict compliance to regulatory laws
