The job description

  • The Planet Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager with 5–10 years of experience to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects. This role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Define deliverables and establish clear project milestones
  • Build and lead cross-functional project teams
  • Assign responsibilities, provide direction, and ensure accountability
  • Develop and manage project budgets
  • Track costs and ensure adherence to financial constraints
  • Define and control project scope
  • Manage change requests and communicate impacts to stakeholders
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Proactively address issues and escalate when necessary
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet deadlines
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders
  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and deliverables
  • Ensure deliverables meet established standards and specifications
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, status reports, and closeout materials
  • Resolve project challenges and conflicts in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with team members to drive solutions
  • Ensure all objectives are met and deliverables are completed
  • Obtain stakeholder sign-off and conduct post-project evaluations


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of project management experience with a proven track record of successful delivery
  • PMP or other project management certifications preferred
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
