## What You’ll Own
As Electrical Principal, you are the senior technical and leadership voice for the electrical discipline. This is a role with real authority and real accountability.
- Set the technical direction and quality standard for the electrical engineering group
- Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and designers from junior through senior levels
- Own client relationships from pursuit through project closeout — you are the trusted advisor clients call first
- Drive business development efforts including proposals, interviews, and strategic client targeting
- Collaborate across disciplines — mechanical, telecom, security, commissioning — on fully integrated project delivery
- Review and approve construction documents, specifications, and calculations
- Represent the firm at industry events, professional organizations, and in the broader engineering community
- Contribute to firm leadership decisions, culture, and strategic growth

## What You Bring
**Required:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 15+ years of progressive experience in building electrical systems design
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) — Washington state required or reciprocity eligible
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing client relationships at a senior level
- Deep expertise in power distribution, life safety, lighting, and low-voltage systems
- Strong business development instincts — you understand that great work wins the next project
**Preferred:**
- Experience in mission-critical, healthcare, or campus environments
- Familiarity with medium voltage distribution and campus infrastructure
- Knowledge of sustainable electrical systems: PV, EV, BESS, and energy modeling
- LEED Accreditation or PMP Certification
- Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD

Profit Sharing in a 200 person firm, 401k, large bonuses, 90% of business is repeat, opportunity to lead a team and build a division.
