We’re partnered with a reputable Electrical Contractor based in Miami, Florida, delivering projects across commercial, government, and education sectors, with values ranging from $200K to $10M. Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring on an Electrical Estimator to strengthen their preconstruction team.
🔧 The Role:
As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in pricing and securing projects, working closely with internal teams to produce accurate and competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed electrical estimates (training provided on Accubid)
- Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Develop accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Collaborate with Project Managers and leadership during bid reviews
- Identify value engineering opportunities
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator
- Experience using estimating software (e.g., Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar)
- Open to learning and developing within new systems (Accubid training provided)
- Experience estimating commercial, government, or education projects preferred
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Knowledge of NEC codes and electrical systems
