Electrical Engineer (Systems & Hardware Design)

We’re partnering with a highly innovative engineering organization focused on developing advanced vehicle and system-level technologies across defense and commercial applications. They are seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and integration of complex electrical systems.

This is an opportunity to work on real-world hardware — from early concept through production — in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and system architectures
  • Support end-to-end hardware development (concept, design, prototyping, testing, and validation)
  • Work across power distribution, control systems, and embedded electronics
  • Create and review system-level schematics and electrical drawings
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams
  • Participate in design reviews, testing, and troubleshooting of integrated systems
  • Contribute ideas for system improvements, scalability, and new applications

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
  • US Citizen
  • Experience with one or more of the following:
  • Electrical system design / schematics
  • Wiring harnesses / cabling
  • PCB design (Altium or similar)
  • Power systems or embedded systems
  • Comfortable working on physical hardware, not just simulation or documentation
  • Ability to understand and contribute to complex system architectures
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, robotics, or autonomous systems
  • Familiarity with system integration and testing
  • Exposure to vehicle or mobile platform electrical systems
  • Experience reviewing or creating system schematics for complex platforms

Why This Role

  • Work on cutting-edge systems with real-world impact
  • High ownership and visibility across projects
  • Collaborative, engineering-driven culture
  • Opportunity to grow into technical leadership or system architecture role
