JOB DESCRIPTION
• Day-to-day support of global non-manufacturing facilities electrical systems • Own and maintain global electrical standards, reliability programs, and energy-efficiency initiatives • Serve as technical authority for power, lighting, and LV/MV distribution systems from design through sustaining support • Design and maintain resilient critical infrastructure systems to ensure uptime and operational continuity • Lead or support electrical scopes on construction and infrastructure projects across offices, labs, and high-tech facilities • Develop and review electrical design documentation and coordinate with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams • Support incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of electrical systems
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years of experience in facilities electrical engineering, MEP consulting, or electrical contracting • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong knowledge of building electrical systems, including LV/MV power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and fire/life safety interfaces
• Experience designing and supporting critical infrastructure systems such as UPS and generator systems
• Proficiency with electrical analysis tools such as SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower (short-circuit, coordination, load flow)
• Ability to prepare and review electrical design and construction documents (single-line diagrams, load calculations, panel schedules, lighting layouts, arc flash studies)
• In-depth knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, IEC, and applicable building codes
• Experience supporting construction administration, including submittals, RFIs, and field inspections
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or other high-tech environments
• Experience with Revit/BIM and 3D modeling tools
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms and maintenance program optimization
• Experience with sustainability frameworks and energy-efficient technologies (LEED, WELL, ISO 50001)
• Familiarity with renewable energy systems, lighting controls, and smart building technologies (BMS, EMS)
• Knowledge of international electrical codes and global standards
