Entry Level Electrical Engineer

Highlights/Qualifications:
Responsible for developing and maintaining electromechanical system designs under the direction of a senior engineer or manager. They provide direction to designers and drafters regarding the documentation of their designs. Provides engineering support to internal and external customers and performs other tasks as assigned.
· Translate requirements into a system architecture and detailed design.
· Design and integrate industrial automation and control systems including PLC controls, motor controls, and general machine controls.
· Determine feasibility of modifying existing or designing new equipment considering costs, time limitations, and other technical and economic factors.
· Validate designs through analysis and testing
Education: BS in Electrical Engineering and college training using Autodesk and or SolidWorks
Experience: 1+ year experience in developing and maintaining electromechanical system designs.
· Working knowledge of business software including MS Office suite.
Knowledge in Autodesk and SolidWorks and ERP software
· Collaborate with others to clarify requirements and develop solutions.
· Lead design reviews consisting of multi-disciplined and cross functional team members.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: MS in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 1+ year experience in the following:
· 480VAC power generation and distribution
· Engine/generator controls
· Industrial automation and controls systems
· Electrical traction systems (DC & AC)
· Motor controls and variable speed drives
· Knowledge in Autodesk and SolidWorks and ERP software
Must be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.

Annual salary rate: $70,000 to $95,000 (Depending on experience)
