Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Designer role based in Tomball, TX. The Electrical Designer will be responsible for creating detailed electrical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and assisting with the implementation of custom projects. Daily tasks will include collaborating with teams to design and document electric motor control and automation systems, analyzing electrical engineering requirements, and supporting the development of innovative solutions for clients' applications.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Electrical Design, Electricity, and Electrical Engineering
• AutoCAD Electrical 2D experience
• Experience with electric motor control and automation systems
• Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Capacity to work collaboratively and meet project deadlines
• Experience designing one line/block diagrams, wiring/interconnect diagrams, loop diagrams, IO lists, cable indexes, wire lists.
• Expertise in producing/Checking design layouts, detail drawings, assembly/mechanical drawings, bill of materials, and parts lists.
• Experience designing starter, soft starter, and VFD panels.
• Understanding of NEC and UL508A requirements. (NNNY experience is a plus)
• Ability to effectively communicate directly with customers.
• Ability to understand P&ID’s.
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Continual improvement mentality.
