Electrical Commissioning Field Engineer 3
We are seeking an Electrical Commissioning Field Engineer 3 to perform testing, startup, and commissioning of low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems supporting critical infrastructure environments. This is a full-time position based in Northern Virginia
.
The role involves working with breakers, transformers, switchgear, relays, motor control centers, and other electrical equipment in both field and manufacturing environments. Candidates will have the opportunity to support complex commissioning projects while contributing to the reliability and performance of mission-critical electrical system

What You'll DoPerform testing, startup, and commissioning activities for low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution equipm - ent.Support commissioning efforts involving breakers, transformers, switches, switchgear, relays, and motor control cent

What You'll BringHigh school diploma or GED with 10+ years of relevant electrical experienc
e, ORAssociate degree with 8+ years of relevant electrical experienc
- e, ORBachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant electrical experience.Experience with electrical installation, maintenance, testing, commissioning, or startup activities across multiple sys
- tems.Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical, mechanical, and civil draw
- ings.Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and commissioning pract
- ices.Familiarity with industry standards including NETA ATS/MTS, NEC, NFPA 70E, and related electrical safety requirem
- ents.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving sk
- ills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in field and manufacturing environm
- ents.Willingness to travel as required from a Northern Virginia home
- base.
