Job Description

This role focuses on assembling and wiring electrical components in a cleanroom environment, primarily for medical or precision devices. You will interpret blueprints and drawings, build and adjust wiring in panels and casings, and ensure that all assemblies meet quality standards before moving them to the testing stage. This is a 1st shift, 90-day contract-to-hire opportunity based in DOWNTOWN Cincinnati, OH, operating on a 9/80 schedule that provides a three-day weekend every other Friday. You will work on 1st shift, Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m, while maintaining an 80-hour pay period.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and related technical documentation to perform electrical assembly tasks.
  • Assemble wiring in panels, casings, and related enclosures according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Use hand tools and appropriate equipment to route, secure, and connect wires and harnesses in a cleanroom environment.
  • Adjust or repair faulty wires, connections, or broken components in panels and document or report issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Prepare completed assemblies and move finished products to the testing stage in an organized and timely manner.
  • Perform clean, precise work suitable for medical or high-precision assemblies, maintaining strict adherence to cleanroom procedures.
  • Follow established safety, cleanliness, and quality protocols throughout the assembly process.
  • Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement of assembly processes and quality.

Essential Skills

  • At least 2 years of hands-on electrical assembly experience.
  • Proven experience working with wires and harnesses in an assembly setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
  • Experience using rivets for securing components in panels or casings.
  • Experience with soldering or micro-welding for precise electrical connections.
  • Ability to perform assembly work in a cleanroom environment.
  • Proficiency using hand tools commonly used in electrical and mechanical assembly.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct wiring or component issues.
  • Capability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to documented procedures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
