Short Description

The Phlebotomist/EKG technician is the primary person responsible for:a. Collecting laboratory specimens and performing EKG’s on patients treated in the outpatient setting, including off site locations and nursing homesb. Collecting laboratory specimens from hospital inpatients. Patients range in age from newborn through older adult.
Experience Required

0-2 years' experience required.


Education Requirements

High School/GED required.

Vocational/Technical School preferred.


License/Certification Requirements

Formal Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
