Peak Vista Community Health Centers is a nonprofit health care organization whose mission is to provide exceptional health care to people facing access barriers through clinical programs and education. Compensation (Pay): $22.50 to $32.63/per hour based on experience.
A $1000 sign on bonus will be paid in the following manner: $300 payout upon 30 days of employment, $300 payout upon 90 days of employment, and $400 payout upon one year of employment*.
*Current employees are not eligible for the sign on bonus.
Loyalty Bonus - $1200 upon 1 year of service and then a $300 payout for every additional 3 months worked. This applies to only FT employees. The amount will be prorated for PT employees.

Job Summary: Performs those duties to assist the Clinical Dental Director (CDD), Dental Operations Director (DOD), Dentists, and Hygienists in the care and treatment of patients including but not limited to placing and restoring amalgam and resin type restorative procedures. Performs reception, chair-side assisting, inventory and dental records duties.

Education/Experience:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent education.
Work Experience: EDDA Certificate or 3 years of EDDA experience required in lieu of certificate. 1 year working as a chair-side Dental Assistant required.
Computer Skills: Intermediate - ability to access the intra/internet to manage timecard, review policies and procedures, and read company communications; use e-mail to communicate with co-workers, leadership, and other departments; use and create a variety of templates, complex tables, merges; manage table data, sort and filter merges, and also perform basic work with existing Macros; customize toolbars, import and insert graphs, embed Excel data, and elaborate reports; work with multiple worksheets, filter data, use integrate functions, and manipulate databases; customize templates and the PowerPoint environment, and to make a presentation interactive by using hyperlinks and action buttons
Certificates and Licenses: X-ray certification and CPR certification required. Valid Colorado driver’s license and proof of insurance. Must meet and maintain driver criteria as prescribed by Peak Vista’s insurance underwriter.

Physical Demands:Long periods of standing, moving, and sitting. Frequent bending and fine motor skills. Hearing within normal range for telephone use.
