Job Title: Retail Shift Lead – Official EDC Merchandise (LUX & COSMICRave Stores)
Location: The Cosmopolitan or The Luxor Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NV
Dates: May 9 – May 20 (Mandatory availability for 24-hour continuous operations from May 12 – May 16)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly resilient and adaptable Retail Shift Lead to act as the "mini-CEO" of their shift for the official Electric Daisy Carnival pop-up stores. You will direct the daily operations of frontline staff, handle high-volume crowds, and resolve customer issues on the fly, all while ensuring the sales floor remains organized and fully stocked. This is a high-energy role in a loud environment that requires you to lead by example and work directly alongside your team.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Supervise and direct temporary frontline staff, including Sales Associates, Guest Services, Floor Help, and Greeters.
Operational Execution: Oversee cash handling, point-of-sale efficiency, and inventory flow, while ensuring aesthetic recovery of the sales floor and shoe booth.
Labor Compliance: Manage shift schedules and strictly enforce Nevada state labor laws regarding mandatory meal and rest breaks.
Crisis Management: Handle escalated customer disputes and resolve logistical bottlenecks during extreme rush periods.
Hands-on Support: Jump in and perform the physical tasks of your team during peak volumes, such as operating registers or sorting merchandise.
Requirements:
1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail, hospitality, or event environment.
Uncompromising flexibility and the ability to remain calm and positive under intense pressure.
Absolute willingness to go above and beyond, which includes staying later than your scheduled shift to ensure smooth handoffs and manage unexpected surges.
Stamina to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks in a loud, dynamic environment for extended periods.
All positions will be $19.00/hr with a minimum8 hour shifts
