Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospital campuses, 31 outpatient centers, clinics, emergency rooms, urgent care sites, along with our 17,000 employees, more than 3,000 affiliated physicians and 2,000 volunteers.
Our Scripps System-wide Resource Services (SSRS) department supports the entire Scripps Health system. As a member of the float team, you can fill vital roles on assignments throughout the system to provide critical coverage for employee’s leave of absences, sick calls, and peak service demands while gaining experience in a variety of environments.

These positions are within our System-wide Float Pool and Resource Team:
Float Pool: Techs self-schedule in 4-week blocks to meet shift and weekend requirements. This position helps cover all 5 campus sites and urgent care. Full time available and currently hiring to night shift only.
Minimal Scheduling Requirements [we use the UKG application for self-scheduling]
Part Time Position- 2 shifts per week, to include at least 2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Full Time Position- 3 shifts a week, to include at least 2 weekends or 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

Required Qualifications:
• American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Provider.
• Certified California EMT (EMT, AEMT or Paramedic) or California CNA certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
• One year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Direct Patient Care experience
Travel Requirements:
• Work between the five (5) Scripps Health hospital campuses: Encinitas, La Jolla, Torrey Pines, San Diego, and Chula Vista.
