Russell Tobin's client, an American specialty retail company, is hiring a Digital Commerce Data Analyst in Columbus, OH.


  • Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential 3-month extension)
  • Work Schedule: Hybrid (Tuesday–Thursday in-office, 9 AM–5 PM)
  • Hours: 35–40 hours per week
  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Pay Rate: $29 - $32.94/hr.


Digital Commerce Data Analyst (Contract Role)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Digital Commerce Data Analyst to support digital product operations across multiple channels. This role is primarily focused on providing temporary workload support while a longer-term technical solution for data feeds is being developed.

You will be responsible for managing and executing weekly data feeds, ensuring product information is accurate, complete, and aligned with partner requirements. This is a hands-on role requiring strong Excel skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to quickly take ownership of key processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the full catalog of digital product data and imagery, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Execute and manage weekly data feeds that support international partner websites
  • Extract, organize, validate, and transfer data across multiple platforms and systems
  • Work across multiple Excel files simultaneously to manage, clean, and validate large datasets
  • Ensure high levels of data accuracy, especially for international exports and partner-facing content
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather inputs, validate data, and resolve discrepancies
  • Act as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for data-related workflows
  • Investigate and resolve issues through proactive problem-solving and process improvements
  • Support transition of workload from hiring manager and take full ownership of ongoing tasks


Tools & Systems

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables)
  • Internal systems (training provided)
  • Data extraction and transfer between platforms
  • SharePoint or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus


Qualifications & Experience

  • 2–3 years of relevant business or data experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple data sources and workflows simultaneously
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working cross-functionally
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal onboarding
  • Ability to ramp up quickly and take ownership within 2–3 weeks


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
