As the Ecommerce and Merchandising Brand Lead you will drive the success of key branded digital storefronts by driving and continuously optimizing our merchandising strategy throughout the consumer journey. The ideal candidate will blend analytical expertise and business acumen with creative vision to build a meaningful brand experience and product assortment that drives sales growth and maximizes ROI.
This role reports out of out of midtown NYC office on a hybrid schedule, 3 days in office and 2 days from home. The Ecommerce and Merchandising Brand Lead reports to the Vice President of Ecommerce Merchandising.
Responsibilities
- Own business objectives and KPIS that drive e-commerce success, collaborating with key partners to drive seasonal strategies (marketing, inventory, promotions)
- Establish and lead delivery of a clear strategy to bring seasonal and essential product and key brand stories to life from consumer acquisition to retention, through storytelling and optimized site capabilities with a goal of driving conversion
- Drive innovation in site merchandising strategies through experimentation, technology adoption, and process improvements
- Collaborate with planning teams to manage inventory levels, ensure optimal stock turnover, and oversee open-to-buy budgets
- Continuously analyze product and category metrics, consumer insights and trends to build product assortment and strategies.
- Partner with digital channel experts to execute against merchandising campaign calendar aligning paid media, CRM, with site experience.
- Partner with brand marketing to create compelling visual and written content that enhances product appeal and storytelling
- Develop test and learn initiatives that drive revenue results and improve consumer experience.
- Lead, mentor, and manage site merchandising team providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure the achievement of goals and objectives. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the site merchandising team, exploring new front-end and back-end technologies, tools, and strategies to enhance effectiveness and stay competitive
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration or related field
- 8-12 years of product merchandising experience in the e-commerce and/or Direct-to-Consumer industry
- Proficient in Google Analytics, BI Tools, Data Analysis, and Performance Tracking
- Ability to lead and influence in a fast-paced retail environment, be customer-focused, partner with teams and build relationships
- Experience with Shopify and Salsify strongly preferred
