Early Career Equipment Maintenance Mechanic - 1st & 2nd Shift Openings

Position Overview

We are seeking two skilled Maintenance Mechanics (Equipment Focus) to join our manufacturing team. Despite the internal "Plant Maintenance" title, this role is strictly focused on industrial manufacturing and production equipment maintenance, not commercial or residential facilities.

The Maintenance Mechanic II will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all production machinery to ensure minimal downtime and optimal plant efficiency.

Hiring Process: Quick initial phone screen followed by a single in-person interview.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment, including packaging equipment, process machinery, warehouse equipment, and general plant fabrication.
• System Diagnostics: Utilize demonstrated skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to diagnose and resolve equipment failures.
• PLC Troubleshooting: Observe and troubleshoot PLC and control logic to identify faults (programming knowledge is not required).
• Inspections: Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine necessary repair and maintenance work, actively preventing facilities and machinery breakdowns.
• Tool Operation: Safely and effectively use hand tools, power tools, and machine shop equipment to fabricate or repair components.

Experience & Education

• 1 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience (open to any manufacturing industry background).
