A leading, high-growth national law firm is seeking a specialized E-Filing Analyst to act as a subject matter expert for electronic court submissions across the country. This firm is recognized for its professional culture and commitment to providing high-level support to its litigation teams.


This is a remote position designed to provide essential coverage for late-night and West Coast filing deadlines. Candidate must be based in New York area as there will be occasionally instances where they may need to travel to the NYC office.


Schedule: Monday – Friday | 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM ET Location: Remote


Key Responsibilities

  • National Filing Oversight: Manage and execute high-volume electronic filings across federal, state, and local jurisdictions, ensuring all submissions meet specific procedural and technical requirements.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a central resource for e-filing protocols, maintaining best practices and staying current on evolving court rules and platform updates.
  • Litigation Documentation: Review, format, and finalize complex pleadings and discovery materials; coordinate the preparation of indices, redactions, and hyperlinked documents.
  • Deadline Management: Proactively monitor court dockets and internal systems to track critical deadlines and ensure calendar integrity for multiple offices.
  • Strategic Communication: Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff to provide guidance on proper filing protocols and resolve escalated procedural matters.
  • Vendor Liaison: Oversee external vendors for manual filings, courtesy copies, and record retrieval as needed.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience performing high-volume electronic filings on a national level, preferably within a mid-to-large sized law firm.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong proficiency with various e-filing portals and federal/state court systems. Familiarity with California jurisdictions is a plus!
  • Procedural Expertise: A deep understanding of court operations, filing workflows, and the ability to quickly research and apply rules in new jurisdictions.
  • Communication Style: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism under tight deadlines.
  • Operational Mindset: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a "First in Service" approach to supporting internal stakeholders across various time zones.
