E-Commerce Merchandiser

Position Summary 

The E-Commerce Merchandiser handles the day-to-day execution of our product catalog and site content on buckedup.com. This role covers new product launches, listing maintenance, and keeping site pages and categories current. You will work closely with the E-Commerce Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to keep every product page, category, and site element on-brand and conversion-ready. 

This is an execution-focused role. The right candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable owning a high volume of ongoing site tasks. 

 

Primary Responsibilities 


New Product Listings 

  • Build and publish new product detail pages (PDPs), including uploading renders, verifying SFPs and product information, and writing or uploading copy.
  • Set up all page elements: categorization, sorting, meta titles and descriptions, product tagging, and URL creation and distribution. 

Existing Listing Maintenance 

  • Keep product listings accurate and up to date, including copy revisions, render swaps, SFP updates, and new site element implementation.
  • Add and manage shipping notifications (delayed, special) and disclaimer adjustments as needed. 

Category & Site Page Management 

  • Maintain product category sort order to ensure logical, conversion-friendly browsing experiences.
  • Update the homepage and key site pages at least weekly: highlighting new releases, refreshing content blocks, managing cart upsells and aftersells.
  • Keep supporting pages current (About page, retail store page, etc.). 

Blog Management 

  • Review and upload incoming blog posts, ensuring quality and brand alignment before publishing.
  • Manage the blog content calendar and coordinate project status.
  • Create promotional blog posts as needed; identify and act on SEO opportunities within the blog.
  • Maintain blog site structure and assist with writing blog copy at the direction of the E-Commerce Marketing Manager. 


Knowledge & Skills 

  • Comfortable working within a CMS or e-commerce platform; willingness to learn our proprietary tools.
  • Strong attention to detail. Accuracy in product data, copy, and categorization is critical.
  • Solid grasp of on-page SEO basics: meta titles, descriptions, URL structure, and keyword intent.
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
  • Familiarity with DAM/PIM concepts or digital asset organization is a plus.
  • Clear written communication; comfortable working with AI writing tools.
  • Interest in fitness, sports nutrition, or the supplement industry is a plus. 


Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Marketing, Communications, or related field a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, or content operations. Internship experience considered.
  • Experience with an e-commerce platform or CMS is a plus.
