Dynamics NAV/BC Functional Consultant/Application Specialist

Location: Mansfield, MA

A great opportunity for the Consultant to develop into a leading role.


Main responsibilities of the role:

  • Configure and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across financial and operational modules.
  • Maintain custom enhancements for compliance, landed costs, pricing, and order processing.
  • Gather requirements and implement system changes across multiple BC environments.
  • Support integrations, data flows, and scheduled/batch processes.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support.
  • Assist with month‑end and year‑end close activities.
  • Lead system upgrades, testing, and deployment.
  • Manage user security, permissions, and system performance.
  • Ensure SLA compliance and monitor transaction processing.


Your background/ personal qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands‑on Business Central experience, especially Financial Management.
  • Knowledge of G/L, AP, AR, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, and Administration modules.
  • Experience with BC configuration, job queues, and customized environments.
  • Strong understanding of ERP integrations, APIs, and middleware.
  • Experience with batch processing, reporting, imports/exports, and EDI.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field; finance/accounting support experience required.
