Do you love a good puzzle? Are you naturally curious about how systems work and driven to ensure they perform exactly as they should? Are you someone who takes genuine pride in the integrity of your work and holds high standards for quality?
If that describes you, we’re looking for you to join us. At the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Division of Information Technology (DIT), our Quality Assurance (QA) team is the final line of defense. We validate and approve coding changes for mission-critical eligibility systems that deliver essential food, cash, and medical assistance to families across Washington. It’s a fast-paced environment where your dedication to quality ensures these systems are always ready for the people who need them most.
This is an exciting opportunity to be an instrumental player in a large-scale project, delivering a solution with significant impacts to the community we serve in the State of Washington!
You can telework from anywhere within the state. We have occasional meetings in Olympia.Normal working hours are Monday– Friday, 08:00 am to 05:00 pm. Some evening and weekend work may be required. Occasional work more than 40 hours per week is required to support critical problem resolution, production operations, and off-hour/on-call rotation.
This project is anticipated to last until June 2027.
