The Wanderers Club is a casual, multi-generational private golf and country club in the heart of the equestrian community of Wellington, Florida. The Club’s full array of amenities and services is centered around families, sports and the equestrian lifestyle found only in Wellington. We serve a vibrant community of over 600 member families in areas ranging from golf, racquet, and swimming to childcare, events, and dining.
JOB SUMMARY
This role owns the arrival and departure experience for all Wanderers Members and guests, maintaining control of front drive, valet flow, and Club first impressions. They set the tone for hospitality from the moment of arrival.
Requirements
Member Arrival & Experience:
• Greet all arrivals promptly and warmly, by name whenever possible, and open vehicle and facility doors proactively. Anticipate needs without being asked, including assisting with vehicles, coordinating valet, providing clear directions, and escorting guests when appropriate. Create a seamless, polished arrival and departure experience that reflects Wanderers’ service standards and culture at all times.
Club Ambassador:
• Maintain awareness of daily Club activity; proactively and confidently communicate relevant information (events, locations, etc.) to Members and guests.
Valet, Logistics & Assistance:
• Oversee and direct valet operations during shift. Maintain safe, efficient, and organized vehicle flow at all times. Coordinate with Events/F&B/Golf during peak arrival periods. Assist with golf bag drop and retrieval. Manage package flow cleanly to Club Receptionist.
Security & Access Control:
• Monitor Club entrances and identify unfamiliar individuals and handle with discretion. Balance hospitality with access control. Communicate with Management proactively.
Maintenance & Safety:
• Keep the entrance area, and sidewalk clean, safe, and free of debris. Manage and monitor parking closure and lot assignments. Respond to emergencies, such as fires or medical calls, and enforce building rules and regulations.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-touch, anticipatory service in a hospitality environment.
• Strong situational awareness and sound judgment in a fast-paced, member-facing environment.
• Ability to remain composed and professional under pressure.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift items (up to 50 pounds). Ability to spend significant time in the environment of heat/cold/rain.
• Strong observational skills to detect safety hazards or suspicious activity.
• Drivers License: Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License
• Grooming Standards: Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with our grooming standards.
