Job Description

As a Dock Operator, you will be a crucial part of our warehouse team, ensuring the efficient loading and unloading of trailers and maintaining high standards of quality in product delivery. You will work on the 1st shift, contributing to the smooth operation of our warehouse and manufacturing processes.

Qualified candidates will have experience/abilities in the following:

• Bills of lading
• Unloading and loading trailers with forklift
• Ability to lift 40 lbs throughout shift
• 2+ years of warehouse experience
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trailers efficiently and safely.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Follow inspection processes to ensure product quality.
• Assist with receiving responsibilities as needed.
• Supply raw materials to departments (e.g., paper to presses).
• Maintain general housekeeping throughout the warehouse and manufacturing areas.
• Ensure the physical condition of all equipment is maintained.
• Collaborate with other operators in a team environment.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Work overtime as needed, including weekends.
• Operate a cherry picker to pull materials for shipping/packing.
• Manually unload trailers and perform product repalletization.
• Assist in order selection, packaging, and processing.
• Manage warehouse inventory and replenishment tasks.

Work Environment

The facility is a typical warehouse environment that is not climate-controlled, with temperatures that may vary slightly.

The warehouse features racking up to 30 feet high, multiple loading docks, and several packing and processing stations.

You will work in a team of approximately 20 people on the 1st shift.

The dress code requires professional warehouse attire, including steel-toed shoes, and prohibits cell phone use on the floor.

Shifts are Monday to Friday with breaks included, and training will occur during the 1st shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in York,PA.
