Job Summary:

Essential functions

People

  • Train warehouse personnel on all appropriateSOP’s.Initiate and manage corrective actions.

  • Maintain and ensureaccuratetime keeping system and time-off requests. Update attendance tracker for any early/late/unscheduled absences.Ensure breaks and lunch are taken at the scheduledtimeandovertime is used within guidelines.

  • Knowledge ofourattendance policy and procedures per our company handbook.

  • Development of team members using development plans and goalsetting.

  • Interview usingapprovedrecruiting SOP.

Safety& Environmental

  • Responsible for 100%Behavior Based Safety (BBS) Programparticipationofshift andto performdaily review of BBSsubmissions.Address concernswith urgency.

  • Daily inspections,equipmentchecklistsandsign-off of hazardouswastestorage areas.

  • Observe and correct safety and security violations and enforce Regional Distribution Center SOPs.Document near-misses and incidents using approved incident reporting procedures.

  • LeaddailyStretch and Flex program, followed with shiftmeeting.

  • Ensure housekeeping assignments arefollowedandwarehouse cleanlinessmaintainedand organized.

  • Ensureopeningand closing proceduresare followed.

  • Communicate all incidents to safety management anddepartment’semailgroup.

Inventory

  • Assist withPhysical Inventorypreparation.Understanding of WM system andutilizationof cycle counting process

  • Inventorycycle counts are competed as per schedule and root cause counter measure activities are complete and reported. Documentation required forlargevariances.

  • Investigate, fix,and address discrepancies.

Operations

  • Assign, train, and supervise thedailyworkactivitiesof warehouse staff.Delegate and prioritize warehouse activitiesbased on business needs.

  • Monitor daily work and drive productivity to standard. Provideappropriate coaching/correctiveactions toeliminategaps in productivity.

  • Proficient useofemailcommunication,Teams,Excel,PowerPoint, Workday, and SAP.

  • Maintain communicationwiththeappropriateteams(e.g.,Sales/traffic/planners, etc.)regardinglate departures or service failures during their shift.

  • Identifyequipmentneedingrepair. Report and takeappropriate action.

  • Support andmaintainautomation whereapplicable.

  • Ad hoc Project assignments

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • Educational attainmentequivalentto high school education.

  • Considerable inventory management and warehousing experience, including work in a leadcapacityisrequired.

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES

  • Considerable knowledge of inventory control, ordering, stock rotation, and product storage methods.

  • Knowledge of supervisory principles and techniques.

  • Communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Regional Distribution Center administration practices.

  • Knowledge of safety and security practices.

  • Knowledge of tinting, shaking, and forklift equipment set up, operation, and trouble-shootingprocedures.

  • Ability tooperatea forklift, reach truck, rider jack, wrapper machine, order picker, computer, tint machine.
