Dishwasher/Food Service Partner - PT - Green

Located on the Torrey Pines Mesa near I-5 and Genesee Avenue in La Jolla, Scripps Green Hospital has served the greater San Diego community since 1977. We provide some of the region’s best care, including several nationally ranked specialty programs.

Scripps Green Hospital is attached to Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines. Together we offer dozens of medical and surgical services, including cancer care, orthopedic surgery and organ transplantation.

This is a part-time Dishwasher (Internal position title Food Service Partner) position working a varied shift (start time will be dependent upon the department's need) and varied schedule including weekends. Must have both Morning and Evening availability. Located at our Scripps Green campus in the Torrey Pines area.

Our Food Services team at Green hospital is a vibrant team and is dedicated to serving the community with the highest quality of patient care experience. Located in the beautiful Torrey Pines area, we are one of the busiest cafes through serving our patients, staff and patient’s families. Our team has the opportunity to rotate positions within the café, patient services and catering areas within our department.

The Food Service Partner performs job functions to support the following Food Service operational systems: safe food handling, meal assembly and portion control, customer service, and infection control/sanitation. Follows established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with TJC, Title XXII and other applicable regulatory requirements. Demonstrates age-specific care as established for area and job title.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English
• SD County Food Handler Card; or Food Safety Certificate, or able to pass Food Handlers test, given by certified manager or designee

Preferred Qualifications:

• Food Service experience
• Food Service experience in a Healthcare setting
