Juno Search Partners is partnered with Your Behavioral Health (YBH) on helping find their next Director of Talent. YBH is a private equity backed behavioral healthcare services company representing a well-renowned family of brands across Southern California, including Clear Behavioral Health, Neuro Wellness Spa, and New Life House. The company is undergoing significant growth through both de novo expansion and M&A.

Clear Behavioral Health offers a variety of mental health and addiction treatment modalities to address the individual needs, preferences and goals of their clients. They currently provide the full continuum of care for clients suffering from both mental health and substance abuse, including residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs. They currently have offices in Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach and Torrance.


Neuro Wellness Spa offers in-person and virtual psychiatry appointments for medication management and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy across the broader Los Angeles area, with offices in Manhattan Beach, Torrance, Westlake Village, Beverly Hills Santa Monica, Marina del Rey, Long Beach and Encino.


NewLife House has been providing sober living solutions in Los Angeles, California for over 38 years. New Life House helps men abstain from alcohol and drug dependence, while transforming their lifestyles and teaching them life skills necessary to succeed.


Position Summary

The Director of Talent will not only build and manage a team of in-house recruiters but will also serve as a player-coach, actively participating in recruiting for key roles to ensure alignment with business needs.


The key areas of responsibility include:

  • Establish and manage a best-in-class end-to-end recruiting process with measurable KPIs, including strategy design, sourcing, interviewing, score carding, assessments, reference and background checks, and partnering with HR for seamless onboarding.
  • Personally lead recruitment efforts for select high-impact roles, setting the standard for best practices while coaching and developing the recruitment team.
  • Build, train, and mentor a team of dedicated internal and external recruiters, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Collaborate closely with HR to align talent acquisition with broader talent engagement, retention, and development initiatives, ensuring a holistic approach to Talent Management, including surveys, our culture council, and our internal engagement initiatives.
  • Improve YBH’s “employer of choice” brand in the market through proactive outreach, storytelling, and engagement campaigns.
  • Work cross-functionally to proactively assess business needs and anticipate future talent demands.
  • Maintain visibility into existing compensation bands with HR while ensuring competitiveness with market trends.
  • Evaluate and optimize talent acquisition technologies and processes (e.g., ATS, sourcing tools, analytics dashboards).
  • Track and analyze talent acquisition and engagement data to develop robust KPIs and inform decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and act as a subject matter expert on recruiting trends and market insights.
  • Provide market intelligence to business leaders, including competitive landscape, evolving talent needs, retention challenges, and compensation trends.


Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree in business or human resources is preferred.
  • 7years of full cycle talent acquisition experience.
  • Ideally, the successful candidate will have a mix of contingent search experience from the agency side as well as in house experience leading a team.
  • Behavioral Health or Healthcare Industry experience highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience using applicant tracking systems.
  • Quantifiable experience implementing and improving talent acquisition KPIs, preferably in house.
  • Prior roles that included managing a team of recruiters.
  • Familiarity with all sourcing channels, e.g. direct outreach, networking, Indeed, LinkedIn and other social media.
  • Exposure to multiple assessment methodologies.
