Role Summary
Dir Stores IO Channel Integration leads large‑scale transformation initiatives that modernize store operations, strengthen omnichannel performance, and enhance the end‑to‑end customer experience. Serving as a critical enterprise leader, the IO owns initiative strategy, planning, execution, and value delivery while ensuring alignment with broader commercial and organizational priorities. This role drives the modernization of store processes, roles, layouts, and technologies to support omni‑fulfillment and operational excellence, while also supporting the Chief Commercial Officer in integrating commercial needs across channels including assortment, inventory, pricing, promotions, loyalty, marketing activation, and customer experience. The IO partners closely with Executive Sponsors, the Transformation Office, and cross‑functional teams to ensure focused execution, effective change management, and measurable business outcomes across both store and commercial ecosystems.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Initiative Design
- Ensure executive alignment and secure cross‑functional sponsorship and resourcing.
- Identify and validate initiatives, including defining scope, objectives, and ensuring stage-gate requirements are met (e.g., L1, L2).
- Develop detailed cases, including financial sizing, feasibility analysis, and value expectations.
- Create comprehensive implementation plans with clearly defined achievements, KPIs, critical paths, and resource requirements.
- Align partners and workstream sponsors to secure agreement, support, and necessary resources for initiative success.
- Schedule and lead initiative meetings with Transformation Office (TO), Finance, and cross-functional partners.
- Communicate initiative progress and risks to the Executive Sponsor and the Transformation Office.
Implementation, Execution & Monitoring
- Drive the execution of initiatives, ensuring achievements are achieved and business value is delivered on time.
- Monitor operational and financial performance, providing awareness of Finance and TO on initiative progress and projected impact.
- Identify and proactively resolve roadblocks, advancing critical issues to the Sponsor or Transformation Office as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, resource availability, and seamless execution.
- Report progress and trends to leadership, ensuring clarity and accountability across the initiative lifecycle.
- Ensure initiative outcomes align with broader transformation goals and organizational strategy.
Store Transformation Leadership (≈75%)
- Lead modernization of store operations, roles, workflows, layouts, and enabling technologies.
- Supervise organizational change to ensure store teams are trained and supported.
- Partner with Field Operations, Product/Technology, Merchandising, and Supply Chain.
Commercial & Channel Integration (≈25%)
- Integrate channels end-to-end: ensure coordination of assortment, inventory, marketing, pricing, promotions, and loyalty across digital, store, and partner channels.
- Coordinate assortment strategy by channel, with the CCO and Channel leads: intersect channel strategy with assortment strategy to lead, distort and differentiate product by channel, based on customer and channel dynamics, incrementally and to win market share by channel.
- Coordinate brand activation plans across channels: intersect channel strategy, roles and commercial needs with marketing strategy, objectives and plans to co-create seasonal plans for new product innovation etc. by and across channels.
- Build enterprise value strategy: coordinate promo across all channels, and coordinate across pricing, promo, loyalty and CRM on our own channels for all customers and by customer cohorts to increase share of wallet/customer lifetime value.
- Drive channel activation and demand generation: lead the channel activation needs to be integrated into the consumer calendar.
- Govern customer experience across journey: map, measure, and improve search, browse, purchase, fulfillment, service, and returns across all channels.
Execution, Monitoring & Value Delivery
- Drive focused execution to meet achievements and financial impact.
- Monitor operational and financial performance with Finance.
- Manage risks and critical issue processes.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Partner with leaders across all functional areas to ensure coordinated execution.
- Support decision-making, communication, and alignment.
- Align Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing/CRM/Loyalty, Product/Tech, Finance, and Field Ops to deliver seamless execution
- Works with other IO’s to remove barriers, ensure alignment with strategy, and momentum.
- Provides tools, templates, data, and oversight; collaborates to coordinate dependencies and supervise progress.

Governance & Performance Management
- · Establish portfolio governance & KPIs: prioritize initiatives, lead dependencies, track benefits, and drive performance across customer, commercial, and operational metrics bullet points
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Strong strategic planning & thinking, analytical, and financial modeling skills as well as communication, project management & problem solving
- Ability to influence senior leaders and engage partners across all levels
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives or transformations.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining execution rigor
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in transformation, store operations, channel strategy, program management, consulting finance or operational leadership.
- Experience in omnichannel retail or consumer environments.
- Familiarity with program management frameworks, structured change frameworks, stage gate processes and KPI‑driven performance management.
- · Experience with working with executive leaders and enterprise-level change programs
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
