Director, Revenue Cycle Management and Physician Coding Education

Vistec Partners is a managed services organization for healthcare providers. Services include consulting, technology, revenue cycle management and value-based programs. Our mission is to empower healthcare providers to provide the best patient care by providing transparency and optimization in RCM.

The goal of this position is to work collaboratively with Operations while streamlining billing and coding processes and achieving the highest standards in revenue cycle management using best practices.

Revenue Cycle Management Responsibilities:

• Engage and collaborate with Operations to meet organizational goals.
• Serve as liaison between operations and RCM team members.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
• Maintain good relationships with external parties as needed to meet organizational goals.
• Prepare and present monthly reports to senior management.
• Support the organization in meeting or exceeding performance targets.
• Oversee billing teams.

Certified Coder Responsibilities:

·       Serve as subject matter expert on CPT, HCPCS, ICD10 and modifier coding for physicians and coders.

·       Contribute to the development and maintenance of coding policies and procedures.

·       Create audit protocols and conduct audits.

·       Establish relationships with clinicians, staff and management team.

·       Provide training, education and reference materials to coders and physicians.

·       Prepare monthly reports documenting audit findings, action plan and results.

Required Qualifications

·       Certified Professional Coder or Certified Coding Specialist.

·       Proficient in revenue cycle management processes.

·       Ability to communicate with physicians, managers, directors and staff.

·       Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.

This is a full-time position.
