About the team:
At Warner Bros. Discovery,the advertising platform is a vehicle to provide engaged viewing experiences for ad-supported viewers. The AdTech platform balances advertiser performance metrics with user experience and revenue generation. The platform powers a premium ad-supported experience for live sports and live linear channels as well through digital ad insertion onHBO Max, Discovery+,CNN,NCAAMarch MadnessandBleacher Report, both on our own platforms and through our distribution partners.
Position Summary:
As we continue to grow and innovate in afast-paced,highly-competitivedigitalenvironment, we areseekinga strategic,creative, customer-focusedleader tolead ourProduct Management – Technical teamin developingour in-house ad platform.The Director ofPM-Twillfocus on customer experiences, working with the Product teams to bring innovativeadexperiences to our users. You will report to the GroupVP of Engineeringand PM-TforAdTech. Your role involves team growth and mentorship, design and architecture, operationalexcellenceand stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead,mentorand manage a team of3-5PM-Ts, fostering ahigh-performanceproduct andengineering culture.
Managerequirementsintake andprioritizationacross a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders with competing asks, including ad sales, ad operations, marketing,engineeringandexecutives.
Own and drive key initiatives supporting theengineering team from ideation through release.
Foster collaboration with cross-functional partners and other engineeringteams to drive alignment on technical and product roadmaps.
Providebusinessguidance and ensurehigh-endqualitystandards.
Contribute to the technicaland businessvision for our platform,especially onstrategic initiatives.
Monitor, review and coach performanceof individual contributors; conduct regular performance appraisals and provide growth opportunities.
Own the hiring, onboarding and development ofPM-Ts, ensuring adiverse and high-performing team.
Driveadvertisinginnovationwhileadvocatingfor engineering best practices.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration within WBDStreaming.
Act as a culture carrier, fostering a high-performing, inclusive and collaborative environment aligned with WBD’sguiding principlesandglobalAdTechambitions.
Provide mentorship and leadership across the broader team, supporting talent development, successionplanningandorganizationalhealth.
Required skills and qualifications:
12+ years of professional experience inproduct management, of which 5+ years involves direct management of a team of 5 or more full-time employees.
Deep familiarity and hands-on experience with advertising technology, including SSPs, DSPs, audience targeting, segmentation, impression measurement, diverse digital adSKUsandSSAI/SGAI.
Proven experienceoperatingat a senior level in a continuous deliveryorganizationthat uses Agile methodologies (ceremonies) and tools (Jira). Comfortable working on early iterations of solutions withoutclearly-definedparameters, and the ability to lead a team which has autonomy in their day-to-day decisions.
Ability to translate business requirements to technicalrequirements and design.
A general understanding of DevOps CI/CD tools (GitHubActions) andimplementationbest practices.
Strong strategic thinking,problem-solvingand data-driven decision-making skillswith a keen attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability as an execution-drivenself-starter who takes initiative, follows through, and ensures things get done efficiently.
Experience using AI tools to speed uprequirementsdocumentation and prototyping.
Comfortable communicating with stakeholders from internal technical and non-technical members, product managers, C-level management.
Experience mentoringjunior product managers.
Passion for technology and the evolving landscape of digitaladvertising.
Ability to work cross-functionally and drive team alignment with business goals.
Bachelor’sdegreeor higherinengineeringor related field preferred.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $234,500.00 - $435,500.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
