  • Serve as the primary contact for all procurement and sourcing related activities across the enterprise.
  • In partnership with the outsourced procurement provider, supervise—and, as needed, lead—sourcing efforts across the procurement lifecycle, including requirements definition and documentation, RFx execution, supplier identification, evaluation and selection, and contract execution.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on the supplier landscape, spend, and performance against objectives.
  • Provide indirect oversight and guidance to stakeholders across Brighthouse Financial and within the outsourced procurement provider.

We’re looking for people who have:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in procurement and/or supply chain management; technology and cloud solution experience is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing teams, including setting performance expectations, providing feedback, and driving accountability.
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory and business environment related to technology and business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment, work across diverse stakeholders, and adhere to the highest ethical standards.
  • Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing third-party procurement suppliers; experience sourcing and contracting technology solutions, particularly Software as a Service (SaaS) providers, is a plus.

Research shows candidates may be less likely to apply if they do not meet every qualification listed. If your experience does not align with every requirement, we still encourage you to apply—we would welcome the opportunity to learn more about you.
