This individual is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of turnover, asset data capture, and digital handover processes across simple and complex capital projects. This role ensures that physical assets, documentation, and data are delivered accurately, completely, and in a format that enables operational readiness, regulatory compliance, and long‑term asset lifecycle management. This leader bridges construction, commissioning, qualification/validation, facilities, IT, and operations—transforming traditional turnover processes into a structured, digital, data‑driven delivery model. They will represent CRB in a professional manner, assist in winning work, and understand how their strategy directly impacts our collective success.
Strategic Leadership & Program Ownership
- Define and own the enterprise‑wide construction turnover and asset data strategy across all capital projects.
- Establish a long‑term roadmap for digital handover and asset lifecycle data maturity, aligned with organizational growth and client needs.
- Align turnover and data strategies with broader organizational objectives including operational readiness, schedule certainty, and risk reduction.
Turnover Execution
- Ensure turnover activities are fully integrated into project schedules, contracts, and procurement strategies.
- Lead turnover readiness planning, including early definition of critical systems, documentation, and data dependencies.
Digital & Data Transformation
- Drive the transition from traditional document turnover to structured, data‑centric delivery models.
- Define asset data requirements, taxonomy, and governance aligned to owner systems (CMMS, CAFM, EAM, digital twins).
- Lead implementation and optimization of digital turnover platforms, validation systems, and common data environments (CDEs).
- Ensure seamless data flow from design (BIM, models) through construction, commissioning, and operations.
Commissioning, CQV & Operational Readiness Integration
- Partner closely with Commissioning, CQV, and Operational Readiness leaders to align turnover milestones with startup and validation schedules.
- Ensure construction turnover supports GMP/GxP readiness, validation traceability, and audit preparedness.
- Integrate turnover deliverables with commissioning completion, system boundaries, and readiness checkpoints.
- Support early turnover of utility and process systems to de‑risk startup timelines.
Governance, Quality & Compliance
- Establish governance structures, metrics, and KPIs to track turnover performance and data quality.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and client standards related to data integrity and lifecycle documentation.
Team Leadership & Capability Development
- Build and lead multidisciplinary teams focused on turnover, digital delivery, and data management.
- Define roles, responsibilities, and career pathways for turnover and data professionals.
Develop training programs, playbooks, and reusable tools to scale best practices.
