About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Total Rewards & Compensation to lead the development, implementation, and management of global compensation, benefits, recognition, and HRIS programs.

This highly visible leadership role partners closely with executive leadership, HR, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure Total Rewards programs are competitive, compliant, data-driven, and aligned with both global business objectives and regional market needs. The position also oversees HRIS strategy and optimization, with a strong emphasis on Oracle HCM governance, reporting, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on execution and has demonstrated success managing compensation, benefits, analytics, and HR systems across multiple countries and regions.


What You'll Do


Total Rewards Strategy

  • Develop and execute comprehensive Total Rewards strategies aligned with organizational goals and workforce needs.
  • Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that support talent attraction, engagement, and retention.
  • Advise senior leadership on market competitiveness, workforce planning, and labor cost strategies.
  • Lead annual compensation planning processes, including salary reviews, merit increases, and incentive programs.


Benefits & Employee Wellbeing

  • Oversee regional and global benefits programs and vendor partnerships.
  • Ensure programs remain competitive, cost-effective, and compliant with applicable regulations.
  • Support employee wellness initiatives and programs that enhance engagement and employee experience.


HRIS Leadership & Data Governance

  • Lead HRIS strategy, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee Oracle HCM governance, reporting accuracy, system utilization, and data integrity.
  • Deliver workforce analytics and reporting insights that support strategic business decisions.
  • Establish best practices for HR data governance and operational efficiency.


Compliance, Budgeting & Analytics

  • Ensure compliance with compensation, benefits, and labor regulations across multiple countries and regions.
  • Manage labor budget planning, forecasting, workforce cost analysis, and tracking.
  • Support audit readiness, policy governance, and risk management initiatives.


Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Total Rewards and HRIS team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive operational excellence across all Total Rewards functions.


What We're Looking For


Leadership & Strategic Experience

  • Proven success leading Total Rewards programs within a global or multi-country environment.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders.
  • Experience building and managing compensation, benefits, and workforce planning strategies across multiple regions.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to partner effectively across HR, Finance, and Operations.


Technical & Functional Expertise

  • Deep expertise in:
  • Compensation strategy and program design
  • Salary structures and job architecture
  • Incentive and bonus programs
  • Benefits administration
  • Vendor management
  • Workforce cost planning and analysis
  • Strong HRIS experience, including:
  • Oracle HCM (preferred)
  • Data governance and system optimization
  • Reporting and workforce analytics
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements across international markets.


Preferred Background

  • Leadership experience in:

  • HR Operations
  • HRIS Management
  • Experience supporting regional, international, or multi-country operations is required.
  • Experience within transportation, logistics, manufacturing, supply chain, shipping, or other global enterprise environments is a plus.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 5–7+ years of leadership experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, or related HR disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience managing compensation and benefits programs across multiple countries and regions.
  • Advanced analytical, financial, and data interpretation capabilities.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including:
  • Excel
  • PowerPoint
  • Word
  • Outlook
